CCS - 2014 03 20

On March 20 the students participated in the annual Color Wars. This is sort of like the Hunger Games sometimes. By that I mean it gets r. There is nothing like the stress and emotional turmoil of Musical Chairs. This year was a great competition among all the classes and despite only participating in a few events, the faculty team racked more points than some of the grades (looking at you seniors). The junior class came out on top this year winning some critical competitions including the tug of war. There was also an amazing performance in knock out by junior Dylan Lavoie. He was all alone at the line battling four seniors. He came out on top. And then won the next round as well. There are many great pictures here for you but one of my favorites is Danielle Cook. You can see on her face the fun she was having. There were many smiles like that this afternoon. Thanks student council for another fun afternoon. There was one poignant moment as the games wrapped up and Mr. Gugliotta asked the students to honor Mrs. Johnston for her many years of dedicated service to the school as student council adviser. We hope all the students enjoy their Friday off from school.
