Out with the "old" and in with the new. Senior Kim Reville performed one her last duties as Student Council President this afternoon before turning the duties over to new president Kyle Tower and vice-president Lena Spence.

Moving Up Day

You know the song - the moving from section to section - the flowers for seniors. What you might now know is the auditorium is much cooler than you remember thanks to air conditioning. Many students were recognized for their achievements this afternoon. Perfect attendance - art work - FFA members - athletes - honor roll students - the marching band - and so much more.
The event begins with some major monetary awards for deserving juniors. Thousands of dollars in scholarships were awarded to Kyle Tower, Karlee Martin, Michael West, Alex Hoit, Lena Spence, Jeremy Rabideau, Jeremy Patnode, Morgan Lamica, Chris Redmond, Emily Dwyer, Alicia Cook, Rachael Young, Emily Dwyer and Zach Taylor (if I missed someone please let me know).
Grace Harrigan took a few moments to honor the FFA students for their achievements all year long. Austin Green received the Comptroller Award. Check out all the pictures of other award winners.
Bud Emond from the American Legion Post 219 in Malone took a moment to honor Mrs. Trombley and Marching Band for participating in the parade every year. There was a little something for everyone and far too many other awards winners to mention here. Dozens of students with perfect attendance, honor roll mentions, deserving students, leadership awards, art awards - I know if I tried to list more I would forget more. Congratulations to all.
