From Mr. Walley - "Recently students from the Ag Science class of Mr. Walley participated in the Franklin County Conservation Days At 4-H Camp Overlook.  Thirteen students  presented to  4th and 5th graders of area schools on the topic of Animal Camouflage, Identifying animal prints, and the differences in tree leaf structures.  Animal Camouflage included giving a brief explanation of the various ways animals blend into the environment and then the opportunity to find students dressed in hunting camouflage, Tracking animals is becoming a lost art, however by recognizing the prints, pattern, and place the kids learned to identify various local animals. In Tree Bingo leaf samples where sorted based on type, arrangement, shape, and outside margin and then placed on a "bingo" board as a game.  Students had a week to prepare introductions and content, however they developed  deeper presentation skills as they presented 8 times during the day.
