CCS - 2014 05 08 Spring Senior Concert

Spring concerts are always an emotional time. This will be the last concert for the senior members
of band and chorus. They were all recognized for their many year of dedication and service to the CCS music program. Mrs. Trombley awarded to special honors to Gabrielle Lafleur and Eric Legacy. Miss Wiese singled out the dedication of Issac Kinney. Mrs. Trombley also took a moment to honor each senior band member with some special pins and a king sized chocolate bar.
The songs performed contained classics from The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Harry Chain. The classic "Cat's in the Cradle" was performed by the Guitar Class and sung by senior Rachel Decosse. Senior Issac Kinney handled to vocals for the jazz band on the classic Dean Martin standard "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You". Freshman Kyle Tower rose to the challenge with two trumpet solos for the jazz band. You can read more about the concert and all the players in the Program included at the bottom of this page. Next up for the music department is the Elementary and Junior High concert Thursday night, May 15 at 7:00 PM.
