CCSD COVID-19
From The School Nurses' Office
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! We hope that you have had the opportunity to review the Chateaugay Central School District Reopening Plan. The reopening plan provides our stakeholders with important information regarding the health and safety of our students. You may find the CCSD Reopening Plan at www.chateaugaycsd.org. As you know, Chateaugay Central School District must comply with the guidelines set forth by the Department of Health and Department of Education. It is important that we work together to keep our students and school community safe. Please keep your child/children home from school if they currently have, or have had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours.
Acute respiratory illness
Fever greater than 100 degrees
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Sore throat or cough
New loss of taste or smell
Chills
Nasal congestion or drainage
Head or muscle aches
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
If your child/children are sent home from school with the above symptoms your child/children will be required to seek medical attention and be symptom free for 24 hours (without medication) prior to returning to school. You will need to provide the school with a doctor’s note that states your child may return to school.
Thank you in advance for helping us keep our students healthy. Together we can do this! If you have any questions please call Chateaugay Central School nurses’ office at 518-497-6611.
